My Hero Academia Manga Enters it's Final Arc. Kohei Horikoshi's immensely popular superhero manga series, My Hero Academia, is gearing up for its epic conclusion, as revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

The Beginning of the End

In Chapter 423, released as part of Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #27 on June 3, 2024, it was revealed that the following chapter would be titled "Epilogue," signaling the start of the final arc for the beloved series. The chapter ended with a poignant callback to the iconic catchphrase, "Go further beyond," leaving fans both nostalgic and eager for what's to come. Horikoshi's comment in the magazine hinted that the epilogue wouldn't bring an immediate closure to the story, teasing that the heroes' school lives would continue for a little while longer.

Countdown to the Finale

According to the Shonen Jump app, My Hero Academia Chapter 424 and the epilogue arc will commence on June 9, 2024. This timing strongly suggests that the series will reach its grand finale by the end of this year, marking a significant milestone for Weekly Shonen Jump, as it prepares to bid farewell to two of its only three titles with over 100 million copies in circulation. 

Anime Continuation

While the manga may be nearing its conclusion, the My Hero Academia anime is expected to continue beyond Season 7, which is scheduled to air for two consecutive cours.
